Belgrade Insulations is a renowned distributor of insulation and drywall systems. Beyond traditional building insulation, our expertise spans Technical Insulation, HVAC, Roofing, Fire Protection, Building Envelopes, Offsite construction and Modular build.
We are currently seeking a skilled Van Driver / Cover HGV Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations in a timely and safe manner.
Position Overview:
- Safely operate a van to transport goods to designated delivery areas
- During holiday periods safely operate a 26t rigid lorry to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo following safety procedures
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to traffic laws and regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 Driving Licence
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical condition to load and unload cargo
