Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will play an important role in leading warehouse operations and supporting a team of warehouse colleagues through the night shift to achieve operational goals safely and efficiently. Working closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure productivity, service, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met while fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the ongoing development of colleagues across the operation.

What You'll Do:

Lead and support warehouse shift teams to achieve operational, productivity, accuracy, and service objectives.

Plan resources and labour effectively to ensure workloads are managed efficiently and business needs are met.

Foster a positive team culture through regular communication, coaching, training, and development opportunities.

Collaborate with colleagues across operations and support functions to identify improvements and resolve operational challenges.

Ensure compliance with health and safety, food hygiene, employment legislation, and company policies.

Who You Are:

You have experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics, FMCG, or similar operational environment.

You enjoy supporting and developing others, creating an inclusive environment where people feel valued and empowered.

You are organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance operational priorities and resource planning effectively.

You communicate clearly and build positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders at all levels.

You have experience using Microsoft Office applications and are comfortable working with operational data and reporting tools.

You take a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

You have an understanding of performance management, health and safety requirements, and operational compliance standards. Experience within a unionised environment or knowledge of employment legislation would be beneficial but is not essential.
