Our two deep water quays can accommodate sub-Panamax vessels, and there is direct motorway access from the facility which means we’re perfectly placed for imports and exports to and from the south of the UK to all over the world.
Portico has an opportunity for an experienced individual to join the organisation as an Engineering Manager.
Accountable to the Technical Director, the successful candidate will be expected to add value to the business by the efficient and effective management of the Materials handling Equipment (MHE), Crane maintenance and Facilities staff, ensuring that all repair and maintenance requirements are fulfilled within the companies’ budgetary limits, and in accordance with the company standards, policies and procedures. In addition, the post-holder will deliver excellent customer service and cross-functional co-operation/alignment and provide technical and engineering support to Portico’s Operations, Health & Safety and Project teams.

Qualifications:
· Minimum of an HND in an engineering discipline, served a recognisable apprenticeship, or be able to demonstrate at least three years in a similar role.

Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of experience of technical management.
· Working knowledge of cranes, forklifts, terminal tractors, lifting equipment, refrigeration plants, warehouse racking, and facilities management.
Pay: £60,000.00 per year
