We are currently looking for a Junior Controls Engineer to join our small growing team.
The Controls Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of control systems around the UK.
We are willing to invest in any training and development needed to specify and increase your skill set.
This is a project led role where the control panels and systems are designed, built and tested in house, then installed on the customers site.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and develop controls systems
Developing supporting software
Writing and development of PLC code and configuration of HMI and SCADA systems
Work with I/O and field bus devices such as ProfiNet and ProfiBus DP
Investigating plant breakdowns and assist with plant commissioning
Maintenance and fault finding
Controls Engineer experience/skills required:
Good level of experience with Siemens PLC, HMI/SCADA systems, Step 7 and WinCC
Experience in using Siemens TIA Portal, Mitsubishi and Rockwell systems.
Experience with designing and developing controls for electrical systems
Experience in software programming
A solid engineering background
Experience with any Electrical CAD software suite
This is a full time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Salary: £34,000.00 to £40,000.00 /year depending on experience.
