Experienced Painter & Decorator
Mostlane Construction Limited is a dynamic construction and refurbishment company delivering high-quality projects across the South of England. Operating across commercial and domestic sectors, we specialise in construction, refurbishment, reactive and planned maintenance, and Facilities Management.
We are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join us on an upcoming project in Verwood, Bournemouth.
The work is expected to start in approximately 4 weeks and will initially provide around 2–4 weeks of work.
For the right person, there is the potential for further work on future Mostlane Construction projects.
About the Role
You will be responsible for completing decorating works to a high standard, including:
- Interior painting and decorating
- Preparation of walls, ceilings and woodwork
- Filling, sanding and making good
- Applying emulsion, undercoat and gloss finishes
- Painting doors, frames, skirting and other woodwork
- Touch-ups and snagging
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working area
- Working independently and alongside other trades
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has proven professional painting and decorating experience
- Takes pride in producing a high-quality finish
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is reliable and punctual
- Can work efficiently without compromising quality
- Has their own decorating tools
- Has appropriate site PPE
- Holds a valid driving licence and has their own transport
- CSCS card is preferred
This role would suit an experienced self-employed decorator looking for a good run of work and the opportunity to develop an ongoing working relationship with Mostlane Construction.
