Periodic Deep Cleaning Operative
(Casual Temporary Role – Recurring Deep Cleaning Support)
We are looking for reliable and experienced Deep Cleaning Operatives to support recurring periodic deep cleaning assignments across Forest Hill, Lambeth, Hillingdon, and Kingston areas.
The work is generally scheduled once a month or every three months for a few days, depending on individual site requirements. Operatives who are able to cover multiple locations may be offered more regular work and additional shifts.
This is a great opportunity for cleaners looking for flexible, recurring work with the potential for more regular hours based on availability and the number of areas they can cover.
Locations:
Forest Hill (SE23), Lambeth (SE27 and SE244), Hammersmith and Fulham (W12), Hillingdon & Kingston Areas (KT3, KT4 and KT6), London
Hours:
Casual/temporary shifts based on scheduled deep cleaning requirements.
Typically a few days of work each month, depending on site requirements.
Work may be scheduled on different days and at different locations.
More regular work may be available for operatives who can cover multiple areas.
Shifts and locations will be confirmed in advance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning tasks at assigned locations.
- Complete detailed cleaning of properties and facilities to a high standard.
- Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas, and other assigned spaces.
- Clean inside and outside of cupboards where required.
- Deep clean appliances including ovens, fridges, freezers, and microwaves where required.
- Clean floors, skirting boards, doors, walls, and high-touch areas.
- Remove dust, cobwebs, and built-up dirt from hard-to-reach areas.
- Clean windowsills, fixtures, fittings, and other detailed areas.
- Remove limescale and maintain hygiene standards in bathrooms and kitchens.
- Carry out additional cleaning tasks according to client requirements.
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely following COSHH procedures.
- Report any damages, maintenance concerns, or additional requirements to the supervisor.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned, stored safely, and returned after completion.
- Work independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Previous experience in deep cleaning, commercial cleaning, or residential cleaning is preferred.
- Good understanding of detailed cleaning standards and procedures.
- Experience using cleaning equipment and products safely.
- Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel between one or different locations is highly desirable.
- Ability to cover multiple areas is an advantage and may lead to more regular work.
- DBS check is required
- Rights to work in the United Kingdom.

Important:
- This is recurring periodic work rather than a one-off position. Cleaning assignments are expected approximately once a month for a few days, depending on each site's requirements. Operatives who can work across multiple areas may have the opportunity to receive more frequent shifts and more regular work.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
