Vehicle Depollution & Dismantling Operative
Location: Pease Pottage, Crawley
Hours: 40 per week
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday (8:00am–5:00pm)
Reporting to: Depollution Manager
Purpose of the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, skilled, and hands-on individual to join our growing Depollution & Dismantling team.
In this position, you’ll be responsible for safely depolluting end-of-life vehicles using modern fluid recovery systems, and dismantling parts for re-sale or recycling.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Safely depollute vehicles using our purpose-built depollution rigs and specialist equipment
- Drain and manage all vehicle fluids in accordance with environmental regulations
- Remove high-quality parts (engines, gearboxes, suspension, panels, interiors, etc.) without damage
- Identify, sort, and prepare parts suitable for resale or recycling
- Extract recyclable materials and segregate waste into correct recycling streams
- Maintain accurate paperwork and ensure compliance with site procedures
- Work methodically to meet daily dismantling and depollution targets
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and well-organised at all times
- Support a team-oriented, high-quality working environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in vehicle dismantling or depollution preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and confidence using power and hand tools
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work methodically and safely to set procedures
- Team player with good communication and reliability
