We have a great opportunity for an experienced Buildings / Property Manager to join us on a fixed term contract of 6 months.
Our role
For the duration of your contract you will manage a portfolio of beautiful later-living developments across the Home Counties and East & West Sussex. You will lead onsite teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences, excellent levels of building compliance, and ensure robust financial management.
Key responsibilities

Team Leadership: Manage, recruit, and support your regional team, driving performance, collaboration, and continuous development.

Building Compliance: Ensure all developments meet regulatory and statutory health & safety requirements, keeping documentation airtight and being the responsible person for each site.

Financial Management: Oversee operational budgets and service charge accounts, working with finance to produce quarterly reports and year-end accounts.

Contractor & Procurement Management: Work in partnership with our Central Services team to agree on scopes of work and monitor contractor service quality.

Customer Relations: Ensure our customers are always at the forefront of everything we do. Working in collaboration with our sales team firstly to provide a seamless resident journey, and then build and maintain relationships to ensure high satisfaction levels.

This role is offered on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Due to the nature of the contract, we are looking for someone who is immediately available or on a short notice period.

This is a home-based role, but you will need to be located within a reasonable commuting distance of your regional patch, which includes: Cranleigh, Seaford, Hartley Wintney, Romsey, Sandhurst, Haywards Heath, and Cobham.

We operate an out of hours on-call rota which you will be required to participate in as part of your employment with us (roughly on call Monday through to Sunday once per 8 weeks) and you will be the responsible person for Health and Safety across your sites, including, Water Management, Fire and General H&S.
About you
Qualifications & experience

Proven experience in multi-site residential property, estate, or asset management.

Experienced in managing comprehensive, transparent service charges, budgeting, and financial reporting, including the ability to communicate financial information to residents.

Strong working knowledge of H&S regulations, building maintenance systems, and conducting formal site inspections.

Extensive experience leading, motivating, and managing a regional team with multiple direct reports.

Track record of delivering exceptional customer service, managing complex queries, and confidently navigating difficult conversations.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

A TPI/ (or equivalent) qualification is highly desirable.

Strong IT skills with experience of using property related software, we use Google Workspace so experience would be an advantage but not essential.
