The Role
We are looking for a passionate, creative and reliable Chef to join our kitchen team at Kingdom.
The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in healthy, whole-food cooking and will play an important role in developing and preparing nutritious, beautifully presented dishes for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing fresh, wholesome and nutritious dishes to a high standard
- Using whole foods and quality, seasonal ingredients wherever possible
- Creating balanced meals that are both healthy and delicious
- Supporting the development of a varied and nourishing menu
- Preparing dishes with fresh ingredients and minimal reliance on highly processed foods
- Ensuring excellent presentation, flavour and portion control
- Catering for a range of dietary requirements where needed
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing stock and helping to minimise food waste
- Working efficiently during busy services
- Contributing ideas for new healthy and seasonal dishes
What We're Looking For
- Previous professional kitchen experience preferred
- A genuine passion for whole, healthy and nutritious food
- Creativity and enthusiasm for developing wholesome dishes
- Knowledge of fresh ingredients and healthy cooking techniques
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, organised and hardworking
- A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
