Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to join our team in Leeds. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at various venues, ensuring the safety of patrons and staff. This role requires excellent observation skills, a confident demeanour, and the ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism. The position offers an engaging work environment where safety and customer service are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry points and conduct thorough checks to ensure only authorised individuals gain access
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter unauthorised or disruptive behaviour
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents, including managing conflicts or emergencies
- Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring prompt and effective assistance is given
- Enforce venue policies and uphold licensing laws in a courteous manner
- Record incidents accurately in detailed reports for future reference
Experience
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence is essential
- Previous experience in security or crowd management is advantageous
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods and conflict resolution skills
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if required
The ideal candidate will be organised, alert, and able to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
