The University of Worcester is proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s most sustainable institutions. We are now seeking temporary cover for 16 weeks from an experienced and forward-thinking Energy, Environment and Decarbonisation Manager to help review strategies, and prepare for both ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 audits. You will ensure compliance, continuous improvement, and innovation in environmental and energy performance. You will embed sustainable practices into policies, procedures, and technical specifications, helping to shape a culture of environmental responsibility across the organisation.
Collaboration is key to this role. You will work closely with colleagues from Estates, Facilities, Academic Schools, and external partners to promote awareness of carbon reduction, particularly in relation to Scope 1 2 and 3 emissions. Your expertise will be instrumental in identifying opportunities for efficiency, influencing decision-making, and delivering measurable results.
You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team with a shared commitment to sustainability and positive change. If you are passionate about environmental and energy management and want to make a tangible impact within a values-led university, we would love to hear from you.
