Breakfast Club and After School Club Lead Temporary
Breakfast Club and After School Club temporary post from 1/9/26 to further notice.
Huncoat Primary school is looking for someone to help supervise the Breakfast and After School CLub children at our school. Our clubs are run by ourselves We offer upto 30 places in both clubs from age 3-11.
Breakfast is 7.45am to 8.50am but we need someone here from 7.30am for Nursery wrap around care
After School Club runs from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and we need someone to start at 3.15 to collect the children.
Currently we offer:
- Breakfast/ Games/ Colouring/ Board Games/ Books
- Film Night/ arts and crafts/ homework help/ games/ lego and construction/ PE activities
Our children are happy, polite and helpful. They enjoy their time in the clubs.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Enthusiastic about being with children
- Can think of new activities/ is creative/ take an initiative
- Will help support the Breakfast / make Breakfast and put in Asda orders to the office
- Is polite, calm, friendly towards our children
We can offer:
- Another staff member from our current team to support/ help lead
- Happy polite children

- Resources for games/ craft/ films etc
- Training ie Food Hygiene / Safeguarding/ First Aid opportunities

Essential Qualifications
- GCSE 4+ in Maths and English
Desirable Qualifications
- NVQ in child care/ TA position/ college NVQ
- Food Hygiene - or willing to take the course
- First Aid - this can be provided
- Safeguarding Children - this will be provided
Essential Experience
Ability to work in a team
Desirable Experience
Working with children at a primary age of 3-11 OR has completed work experience in schools
