We are seeking an experienced and motivated Programme Manager to take on a new and exciting role within the East of England, leading the delivery of our renal pathway transformation programme.
Working alongside the East of England Renal Network, NHS England Specialised Commissioning and system partners, you will lead developments to transform the way renal services are planned and delivered. This includes supporting earlier detection of chronic kidney disease, using population health data to inform service planning, identifying and reducing health inequalities, and collaborating across organisational boundaries to improve outcomes for people living with kidney disease.
As Programme Manager, you will lead the delivery of the Specialised Commissioning Renal Transformation Plan, ensuring that robust programme management principles underpin delivery whilst maintaining a focus on continuous quality improvement, innovation and value.
Experience in programme, project and/or operational management is essential, as you will be required to work across the system to diagnose, design and deliver transformational change.
The post will report to the Head of Transformation for East of England Specialised Commissioning, with a dotted line to the Head of Operations, Chronic Conditions at East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust, where the role is hosted, alongside the East of England Renal Network leadership team.
Responsible for delivery of a defined portfolio of projects within the East of England Specialised Commissioning programme, ensuring alignment with the regions ICBs and national strategies and policies and using a multidisciplinary approach.
Planning and delivery of the Specialised Commissioning Renal Transformation Programme, including establishing processes for the evaluation of the programme and ensuring that it is set up to deliver over the five-years of the renal strategy
Lead the mapping and service planning for renal dialysis for the region, utilising demand and capacity data and modelling, to develop and jointly agree (SCT, Providers, ICBs, NHSE) a sustainable regional approach to right sizing dialysis capacity
Working strategically as well as operationally to lead the programme, working closely with system stakeholders - you will need to possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Collaborating with the Renal Network Manager, Clinical Lead and members of the East of England Renal Network to deliver on system priorities.
Set up the programme with clear plans for delivery and support the delivery and monitoring of delivery and benefit realisation.
