Job Summary
Ascendant Lifts Ltd are looking for an ambitious and determined Service Sales Assistant to join our busy team at our Regional Office in Stockport.
As a business, we specialise in all aspects of lift engineering with a bias on service and repair and we strongly believe in good old fashioned customer service. We are looking for someone with top verbal communications skills and a knack for converting sales opportunities to orders.
This will be a key position for the company and will be a dual role supporting two important areas within the business.
The first part of the role will be working within the company’s internal sales team where you will have responsibility to generate new business quotations and manage the sales opportunities to sell lift repairs, H&S upgrades and improvement works where necessary to existing customers.
The second part of the role will, again be working within the company’s sales team but will take on an element of business development to secure increase our customer base by selling the company’s wide range of services whilst delivering an unrivalled customer service, developing relationships and encouraging repeat business.
In each role you will be required to process the lead, produce new quotations, follow up on existing quotes, and manage key relationships with suppliers, clients, and stakeholders, all from our office in Stockport.
Responsibilities:
- Develop client relationships across both roles working across all sectors, via phone and email.
- Work with key suppliers and clients to provide the right solutions.
- Working closely with the Regional Manager and agreeing pre-defined sales activities to achieve set out objectives.
- Assist and support the internal service, sales and repair team with any client enquiries.
- Across both roles convert enquiries whether from an existing or new client into qualified leads and create quotations, then send it to the client and chase until order received.
- Ensure the company CRM system is kept up to date with new enquiries and information.
- When needed, provide admin support to the office staff.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail with ambition and proactive attitude.
- Personable, confident when speaking with others and the ability to build rapport remotely and maintain long term relationships.
- Ability to multitask over several plans and projects.
The role is to be 08.30 am until 16.30 Monday to Friday. The salary is negotiable dependent upon experience.
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
