Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
Salary: MPS to UPS + SEN Allowance (£32,916 - £53,835 per annum)

NOW Education is recruiting on behalf of a growing SEMH provision in Oldbury that currently supports approximately 50 students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
We are seeking an outstanding English Teacher to join a supportive and established department, delivering high-quality teaching to students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is an excellent opportunity to teach small classes of approximately 8 pupils and make a genuine impact on the educational, social and emotional outcomes of vulnerable young people.

The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum
- Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- The ability to engage and motivate hard-to-reach learners
- Knowledge of SEMH and SEND strategies
- A resilient, reflective and solution-focused approach
- A commitment to achieving excellent educational, social and emotional outcomes for every pupil
Desirable
- Previous SEMH experience
- Team Teach or positive behaviour management training
- Experience of curriculum development
- Ability to teach an additional subject
