Self-Employed Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative
Location: Various Sites across London (Majority within M25)
Hours of Availability: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
Employment Type: Self-Employed (Works Provided as Available)
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Self-Employed Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative to carry out a variety of maintenance and refurbishment works across multiple sites.
This is a self-employed position , successful applicants need to be available to undertake works Monday and Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Re-decoration, including making good of surfaces and painting.
- Removal and replacement of silicone sealants.
- General handyman tasks.
- Basic carpentry, including hanging doors and minor repairs.
- Transporting materials to and from sites.
- Taking accurate measurements.
- Completing site reports and uploading information via our mobile app using a provided device.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working on construction or maintenance sites is preferred.
- Experience in property maintenance, repairs, or refurbishment.
- Basic carpentry and decorating skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to resolve issues on site.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving licence.
- CSCS Cards
The following would be advantageous but are not essential:
- Site management or health & safety qualifications (e.g. SMSTS, SSSTS certification).
- Experience working in occupied residential or commercial properties.
