CRM & Email Marketing Executive
ROLE OVERVIEW
French Bedroom is looking for a commercially minded CRM & Email Marketing Executive to support customer retention, email marketing, affiliate marketing, direct mail campaigns and customer lifecycle communications.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being involved in both campaign execution and performance analysis. You will be responsible for building, sending, analysing and optimising campaigns within Klaviyo, helping to drive repeat purchase, customer lifetime value and profitable revenue growth.
The successful candidate will have experience working within a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecommerce brand and understand how customer data, segmentation and lifecycle marketing can improve customer retention, acquisition efficiency and long-term customer value.
Working closely with the Head of Retail, you will support the delivery of the CRM programme, affiliate channel, direct mail activity and selected brand marketing initiatives, ensuring all activity aligns with trading priorities and commercial objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCRM, EMAIL & CUSTOMER LIFECYCLE MARKETING
Own the day-to-day management of the French Bedroom Klaviyo account and CRM activity.
Build, deploy and optimise email campaigns, automations and customer journeys.
Work alongside the Head of Retail to develop and execute CRM initiatives that support customer retention, repeat purchase and lifetime value.
Support the ongoing development and optimisation of lifecycle programmes including:
- Welcome Series
- Browse Abandonment
- Cart Abandonment
- Post-Purchase Flows
- Repeat Purchase Campaigns
- Win-Back Programmes
- VIP Customer Journeys
Create customer segments to improve engagement, conversion and revenue performance.
Support the delivery of personalised customer experiences using behavioural, transactional and engagement data.
Maintain campaign calendars and ensure CRM activity aligns with trading priorities, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
Support subscriber acquisition and database growth through lead capture optimisation and list-building initiatives.
Assist in exploring additional retention channels including SMS marketing.
Coordinate campaign briefing with internal and external creative teams, providing clear direction on messaging, products, targeting and objectives.
DIRECT MAIL & CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS
Work alongside the Head of Retail to plan and coordinate direct mail campaigns.
Support audience selection, segmentation, briefing and supplier coordination.
Liaise with print and mailing partners to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve response rates and return on investment.
Ensure direct mail activity complements wider CRM and customer retention initiatives.
BRAND MARKETING & PRINT ADVERTISING
Work alongside the Head of Retail to coordinate print advertising activity across relevant interiors, lifestyle and luxury publications.
Coordinate advertising schedules, creative briefing, artwork approvals and publication relationships.
Support product launches, seasonal campaigns and wider brand activity through coordinated customer communications.
Ensure all customer-facing communications reflect the French Bedroom brand identity, tone of voice and positioning.
ANALYSIS, REPORTING & COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
Work alongside the Head of Retail to report on CRM, affiliate marketing, direct mail and brand activity performance.
Analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Track and report on key metrics including:
- Email Revenue
- CRM Revenue Contribution
- Subscriber Growth
- Conversion Rate
- Repeat Purchase Rate
- Customer Lifetime Value
- Retention Rate
- Direct Mail ROI
- Return on Marketing Investment
Provide clear recommendations and actionable insights to support business performance.
Support the Head of Retail in ensuring all marketing activity contributes to business objectives, profitability and sustainable growth.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) ecommerce marketing role.
- Proven hands-on experience using Klaviyo to build, manage and optimise email marketing programmes.
- Strong understanding of customer retention, lifecycle marketing and CRM best practice.
- Experience supporting email revenue growth through customer marketing activity.
- Experience working with affiliate marketing programmes.
- Experience coordinating direct mail campaigns and analysing performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer and campaign data.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs including Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), Average Order Value (AOV), Retention Rate and Repeat Purchase Rate.
- Experience using Google Analytics 4 and other reporting or attribution tools.
- Commercially minded with a strong focus on profitability and return on investment.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Experience within a premium, luxury, interiors, homeware or lifestyle brand would be advantageous.
