Payment
As a self-employed contractor, you will be paid through J&M Lightyear Logistics Ltd's self-billing process. We prepare your self-billed invoices on your behalf, providing a simple and efficient payment process.
Payments are made weekly, one week in arrears. This means that after completing your first week of work, you will be paid the following Friday and weekly payments thereafter.
Example:
- If you start providing services on the 1st of the month, your first week's work (1st–7th) will be paid on the 15th of the month. From then on, you will receive a payment every consecutive Friday, with each payment covering work completed the week earlier.
Training
Successful applicants will receive one-to-one ride-along training with an experienced driver to ensure they are fully prepared before operating independently.
Training typically lasts 1 to 3 days, depending on your previous multi-drop delivery experience and how quickly you become familiar with the route and customer requirements.
