Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service in a lively environment
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable manner with strong organisational abilities
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol
