About HJL Joinery
HJL Joinery is a growing joinery company based in Lincolnshire, carrying out a mixture of high-end domestic and site joinery. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability and professionalism. We are looking for an experienced carpenter/joiner who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a company with high standards and a strong reputation.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects including:
- 1st, 2nd and final fix carpentry
- Fitted wardrobes and bespoke joinery
- Kitchen installations
- Internal doors, skirting and architraves
- Flooring and stair installations
- Roofing and structural timber work when required
- General domestic and commercial carpentry
Every job is different, so we’re looking for someone who can think for themselves, solve problems and consistently produce work to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years’ carpentry/joinery experience
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of all aspects of site and domestic carpentry
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand tools
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience)
- Own van (depending on employment type)
