Are you a Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for full time in Derby?
I am currently working with a primary school based in Derby who are looking for either a Year 1 or Year 2 Teacher ( happy to base this on the candidate's experience ) to work FULL TIME starting from September.
The role will be to teach a class of 27 children, lead phonics, planning will be part of the role as well as attending staff meetings. You will have full support of a Teaching Assistant in class and work part of a fantastic team.
The role starts from September and will be for the full academic year until July 2026.
The role is suited to either a Primary Teacher or an ECT ( Early Careers Teacher )
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification in early childhood education.
- Proven experience in teaching or working with children within the primary age range.
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques suitable for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater for individual student needs and diverse learning styles.
- Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team. This position is ideal for passionate educators eager to make a meaningful difference in young children's lives through inspiring teaching and dedicated support.
