Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 or an apprentice aiming to complete a level 3 qualification to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children within a nurturing and stimulating environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your skills while supporting children's early development. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about early childhood education and childcare.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour and mile stones.
- Chopping, making snack for the children after completing health and hygiene.
- Attending relevant training for child care.
- Support children with their individual needs, independence and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children's progress and daily experiences every day and at parents meetings.
- Lead by example in demonstrating good practice in childcare management.
- Assist in organising activities, outings, and events that enhance the learning environment.
- Contribute to the overall organisation of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma). or with the view of completing a level 3 apprenticeship.
- Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early years setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, health & safety regulations, and child development principles.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.

Pay: £10.00-£14.00 per hour
