We are looking for someone to take on a Caretaker / General Workshop Assistant role in our growing company, subject to a 3-month trial period.
Here at TQB Interiors, we design and manufacture exceptionally high-quality bespoke interiors. Our team draw upon decades of experience in the industry, supplying furniture to both trade and private clients.
Our Yorkshire workshop is located just off the A1, close to amenities of the nearby market town of Wetherby.
Ideally the candidate would need to make their way to the workshop by car or other private transport, as there isn't a nearby bus route.

The ideal candidate should:
- Be personable and friendly
- Be organised
- Communicate and work well within a small team
- Undertake their work with a can-do, proactive approach
- Manage manual handling of cabinets / materials
- Drive and have experience loading / driving a van
The role at a glance:
- Taking deliveries / collecting from suppliers
- Wrapping, loading and delivering furniture to high-end client homes
- General housekeeping around the workshop / staff room
- Help cabinet makers with machining / other aspects of the job
- Monitoring of stock and liaising with the Workshop Manager
Working hours:
160 total over a 4-week pay period. Overtime is available at request and paid on anything above this total.
We work on a fortnightly cycle:
Week 1
Mon - Thu: 7am - 5pm (45 minute unpaid break)
Fri: 7am - 1pm (breakfast sandwich provided)
Week 2
Mon - Thu: 7am - 5pm (45 minute unpaid break)
Fri: Day off
