Job Role: Grounds worker/Labourer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Ground Worker/Labourer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting various groundwork activities essential for the successful completion of construction projects.

Duties
- Assisting with tree felling and dismantling operations
- Clearing branches, brash and timber from work areas
- Using hand tools such as chainsaw accessories, axes, wedges and pruning equipment where trained and authorised
- Dragging, stacking and processing timber
- Loading and unloading timber, branches and equipment
- Assisting with site clearance and keeping work areas tidy
- Supporting chainsaw operators and other forestry workers
- Helping with woodland maintenance and vegetation clearance
- Maintaining tools and equipment and reporting defects
- Following RAMS, site procedures and Health & Safety requirements
- Using appropriate PPE and maintaining safe working distances around felling operations
- Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Assisting with traffic/pedestrian management where required
- Carrying out general groundworks and manual labour associated with forestry operations
Requirements
- Driving Licence Desirable
- CSCS Card desirable but not essential
- Foresty First Aid desirable but not essential
- H&S Background Desirable
