A housing provider is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, carrying out reactive repairs and void works across Brighton and surrounding areas.
Pay:
- £22.50 per hour (Umbrella)
- £36,250 per annum (Permanent)
Duties:
- Responsive repairs and void property maintenance.
- Carpentry repairs including doors, skirting, kitchens, locks, and general woodwork.
- Completing basic multi-trade works such as plumbing, tiling, plastering, and decorating.
- Working in occupied and void social housing properties.
- Using a PDA/mobile device to manage jobs.
Requirements:
- Strong carpentry background.
- Experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
- Good all-round multi-trade skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence – a company van will be provided.
- DBS Check – will be completed at offer stage
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
