Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate installation and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems and implement effective solutions.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to support installation projects.
- Assemble piping systems, fixtures, and appliances with precision, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience with plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial or residential environments.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, welding, and use of power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting plumbing issues.
