About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and resilient Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting a super bright, high-energy 10-year-old boy. He lives with a brain injury sustained at birth and requires proactive, compassionate support both within his family home and out in the community as he engages in his daily activities.
Due to his complex needs, he requires 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 sleep-in coverage overnight (Monday through Saturday).
This is a rewarding role where your positive energy, patience, and commitment will directly help a young person build confidence, stay safe, and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Active Engagement: Accompany and support him on community outings, physical activities, and hobbies.
- In-Home Support: Provide attentive 2:1 daytime support and 1:1 sleep-in overnight support within the family home.
- Behavior Support: Manage challenging behaviors and self-harm effectively using calm, proactive, and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Safety & Well-being: Maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing environment where he feels secure, understood, and supported.

- Flexible: Able to cover daytime 2:1 shifts and/or Monday–Saturday sleep-in shifts.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: £17.00 – £18.50 per hour
- Flexible Hours: 24 to 36 hours per week available
