Our business unit follows a value stream structure, and this role is within Protection and Equity Release (ER) value stream focusing on aligning colleagues, applications and projects to deliver successful change in this domain.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced people leader with a strong business analysis background to join the Senior Lead Analyst team. We are seeking an individual with deep domain expertise who can quickly establish themselves within the role, provide strong leadership and take accountability for the delivery of high-quality analysis across the Protection and Equity Release value stream change activities.
- Oversee and support complex business analysis activities across a portfolio of projects and programmes within your allocated value stream.
- Work collaboratively with the wider Senior Lead Analyst team to shape and evolve the Business Analysis framework.
- Ensure analysis outputs consistently deliver value, meet business objectives, and maintain high standards of quality.
- Build and nurture a high-performing Analysis function.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and engaging culture where colleagues are motivated to develop, succeed, and deliver their best work.
- Improve analysis capability across the value stream and wider organisation.
- Steer major programmes of work when required, providing thought leadership and supporting project recovery where needed.
- Act as a senior escalation point for Analysis Managers from both a people leadership and delivery perspective.
- Ensure teams are equipped to perform effectively and overcome challenges.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across technology and business areas to land outcomes and understand business strategy.
- Translate business strategy into clear analysis priorities and activities.
Play a pivotal role in planning, prioritising, and executing Business Analysis activities that optimise services and experiences for customers, advisers, and colleagues.

- Manage analysis colleagues in your business area so that you deliver great performance through motivating and engaging them and developing their capability.
- Accountable for the personal and skills development, development needs, training strategy and succession planning for analysis colleagues in your business area.
- Coaching and mentoring analysts, providing guidance and training, reviewing their work if needed, and helping them to develop their analytical skills.
Have a thorough understanding of your Value Stream and their priorities to guide and influence the change agenda .
Guiding and influencing analysis at value stream level ensuring optimal sequencing and allocation of scope and analysis effort during business and portfolio planning .
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands.
Support the recruitment, selection, assessment, on-boarding, and transitioning of analysis colleagues in your business area.
- Collaborate with Senior Lead Analysts in other business areas to deliver a consistent approach and quality of analysis across the Transformation function.
Oversee the performance of external analysis partner resource.
- Experience of leading both individuals and teams.
