_ Role and Responsibilities_
- The role will assist both the mortgage and wealth adviser teams in servicing new and existing clients. The expectation is that the split of time will be around 3 days per week on wealth, 2 days on mortgage but this will fluctuate and so it requires flexibility depending on the needs of the business and workflow.
- Support to both mortgage and wealth adviser teams, following all business processes to ensure that measures are adhered to.
- Review & Research a broad range of financial products across all need areas using all systems and software
- Collate and evaluate client policy/investment/pension
- Liaise with providers, gathering and correlating plan / policy information and ensuring a smooth and timely business process
- Create and maintain client files and enter details onto back office database in line with Fairstone standards. Full client detail to be accurately loaded to the database, data kept updated including changes to client details, plans, and diary activities.
- Support in preparing annual review reports for existing clients
- Creating new business reports for advisers under their guidance. New business processing and submission to Business quality, submitting onto external and internal systems
- Prepare paperwork for pre and post meetings; Send Letters of Authority;
- General Administration duties in line with Fairstone procedures; Other duties as they arise.
- Maintain regular contact with clients, booking clients in for annual reviews, management of review process and client servicing
- Liaise with lenders/providers and clients verbally and in writing to satisfy all additional requirements to process cases through to completion, submitting all lender/provider required documentation in accordance with each provider’s procedures.
- Ensure cases are diarised with the correct level of priority applicable to individual circumstance; be pro-active completing all chase and keeping clients / advisors updated with progress.
- Check within a timely fashion that mortgage offers, and life acceptance terms received reflect the advice provided and update all appropriate parties.
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a financial service using financial research tools is desirable but not essential. Apprenticeship available.
- Develop a broad knowledge of financial products including both individual and employer pension knowledge, investments and protection products
- High attention to detail, with professional and approachable communication skills with strong command of both written and spoken English
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise own work effectively and support advisers achieving excellent client service
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills including Office 365
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
