Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Duties
- Assisting dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Ensuring the treatment room is clean, organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies
- Providing support to patients before, during, and after treatments, ensuring their comfort and reassurance
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating files as required
- Adhering to infection control protocols and health & safety standards at all times
- Supporting administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence
- Learning and applying relevant dental procedures, protocols, and terminology through on-the-job training
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and administrative tasks
- Organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- A caring attitude with a focus on patient care and confidentiality
- Good command of English, both spoken and written
