Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks and beverages efficiently and courteously to customers at the bar and tables
- Prepare and replenish bar stock, ensuring all items are correctly stored and labelled
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using POS systems
- Provide friendly assistance and answer customer queries promptly
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking identification and adhering to licensing laws
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A personable nature with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service
