Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Assist chefs with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with the organisation of storage areas, ensuring that food items are stored correctly and labelled appropriately.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while working in the kitchen environment.
- Participate in regular cleaning schedules to maintain a tidy workspace.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential; we welcome individuals eager to learn.
