DAFC is seeking a driven and experienced Head of Commercial to join our team to oversee all commercial activities.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy aligned with the club's overall business objectives.
- Identify and capitalise on revenue-generating opportunities, including sponsorship, partnerships, and other commercial initiatives.
Sponsorship and Partnerships
- Cultivate and manage relationships with existing sponsors and partners.
- Proactively seek new sponsorship and partnership opportunities to enhance the club's financial stability and brand visibility.
Marketing and Branding
- Collaborate with the marketing/social team to enhance the club's brand image and visibility.
- Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to maximise commercial opportunities.
Events and Hospitality
- Oversee the planning and execution of commercial events, including matchday sponsorship, matchday hospitality and special events.
- Identify and implement strategies to enhance the fan experience and increase commercial revenues during events.
Financial Management
- Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve revenue targets.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
Networking
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, sponsors, and partners within the local business community.
- Represent the club at relevant industry events and functions.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilise data analytics to evaluate the performance of commercial initiatives and make informed decisions.
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on commercial activities and financial results.
Competitive base + commission – OTE £50k-60k
