The role: The successful candidate will have an appropriate level of training, qualifications and experience within the Fire Risk Assessment (documented evidence will be required), Fire Safety Enforcement or Risk Assessment sector and be able to commence risk assessing soon after an initial induction period.
The role requires the successful candidate to work in the office as part of a team-based collaborative environment. The offices are located at Staverton, Cheltenham.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out and document Fire Risk Assessments to the specific needs of the premises/project/client and within agreed time frames.
Provide customer support and professional advice in relation to all aspects of fire safety and fire risk reduction.
Carry out surveys and establish recommendations for fire safety compliance.
Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the role.

- Technical knowledge of the Fire & Security industry is an advantage.

Minimum Requirements:
Confident outgoing personality with great interpersonal skills.
- Experienced and developed ability to have a diplomatic approach to discussing fire safety requirements with Responsible Persons (business owners, care home managers, head teachers etc.….) relating to their legal and financial obligations.
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management (preferred)
- Fire safety experience and/or qualifications, e.g. Grad IFE, Fire Safety Modules, assessable Fire Risk Assessment course, fire sector experience.
