Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with an emphasis on professionalism and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, washrooms, and communal areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet rolls as needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied regularly
- Use specialised cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
