We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused Factory Operative - Backstamper to join our team.
This is an important role within our manufacturing process, where you'll be responsible for applying accurately centred backstamps to ware, ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products. You'll also monitor production, carry out regular quality checks and set up and maintain the backstamp machine.

Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
£12.76 per hour
Apply accurately centred backstamps to best biscuit ware.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of the stamp applied.
Count and accurately record daily production.
Carry out regular quality checks on the backstamp.
Ensure the correct backstamp is applied to Albalite/Steelite biscuit ware.
Set up the backstamp machine and change blades/bombs as required.
Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
Follow all Health & Safety regulations, Company policies and procedures.
Carry out other reasonable duties as required.
Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues accurately.
Take pride in producing work to a consistently high standard.
Be reliable and able to follow established processes and quality standards.
Be comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Be able to work accurately and consistently when carrying out repetitive tasks.
Be able to count and accurately record production information.
Be willing to complete required training and refresher training when necessary.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
You'll receive full on-the-job training relevant to the role, including training on the backstamp machine, quality requirements and safe working practices.
