Job Overview
We are looking to engage a Personal Assistant to the Directors to join our growing team here at Niche Foods Ltd, a family-run business based in Meridian Business Park, operating in the FMCG industry as the home of Riya’s Original Recipe and Aunty Noray’s.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the three Directors, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, managing schedules, and facilitating effective communication within the company. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong organisational skills and attention to detail to contribute to a dynamic professional environment.
Duties
- Manage and maintain executive calendars, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents with accuracy and professionalism
- Organise meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items
- Liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of senior management
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence promptly and efficiently
- Coordinate logistics for events, conferences, and business trips
- Assist in project management tasks as required, ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintain organised filing systems both electronically and physically
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks to facilitate daily operations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in British English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with calendar management tools
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst being a team player
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Nice-to-have: experience in project coordination or event planning; familiarity with travel booking platforms; additional language skills are advantageous
- Full UK driving licence

The salary for this role starts at £28,000 p/a, depending on experience.
