Job Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker, this is a multi purpose role including general warehouse work, production line building and returns processing and repair operations.
Duties
Warehouse
Day to Day warehouse work includes a high degree of manual and physical work, mainly moving large boxes and pallets in a warehouse environment.
- Unloading containers items ranging from 1 - 25KG (helping other team members unload full containers from suppliers, these are loose loaded and require palletising)
- Labelling and inspecting products to send to other warehouses
- Receiving inventory
- General Warehouse Duties
Production Line
On the production line you will become a vital part of creating products efficiently and safely! In this role, you will be engaged in assembling, inspecting, and packaging items . Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.
Returns Department
In our Returns processing department, you will be receiving, cleaning and processing returns from customers on our warehouse management systems and assisting / joining our repair team to ensure maximum value is extracted from products. Including cleaning and testing electronics to ensure they are resaleable.
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we value motivated individuals eager to learn
- Basic mechanical knowledge helps in understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous for assembly tasks
- Experience with assembly processes or working on production lines is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and teamwork skills are highly valued
This is a fixed term temporary contract for 6 months, starting as soon as possible.
Hours are as below:
Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm or 9am to 6pm on rotation, with 1 hour unpaid break
One fixed Sunday per month, with the following Friday off in lieu.
