Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista & Front of House Worker to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other refreshments in accordance with company standards
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
- Handle cash register operations and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including assembling sandwiches or snacks
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Restock supplies and ensure the café remains well-presented throughout shifts
Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain excellent service standards
