Dahlia Beach is an exciting flower farm based in West Oxfordshire and we're looking for hard working flower pickers to join our growing team this summer.
Since launching on Instagram in September 2020, we've grown a community of over 100,000 followers and are now looking for hard workers to pick flowers for our wholesale orders, stockists and London farmer's markets.
Responsibilities:
- quickly selecting and picking the best flowers from the field
- sorting the flowers by colour and size
- loading the flowers into buckets and trolleys for delivery
- keeping acurate records of the number of flowers picked
- creating handtied bunches of flowers for farmer's markets
- weeding, dead heading and maintaining the plants and walkways
- washing and cleaning tools and buckets
Requirements:
- reliable, punctual and good attention to detail
- ability to work fast towards deadlines
- physically capable of working on your feet all day in all weathers
- organised and methodical
- positive, cheerful disposition is a must!
THE DETAILS:
Fixed term contract: 15 August - mid-November
Part time: 5 days a week (including Saturdays)
Hours: 7am - 11am (4 hours a day)
Based in Woodstock OX20 1PW
