We are looking for a full-time, dynamo of a housekeeper who enjoys returning chaos to a hotel level of tidiness and welcomes the challenge of keeping up with our busy household. You will possess a positive, warm and friendly attitude and a proactive approach to your work. We are looking for candidates who possess a genuine passion for housekeeping with high standards.
Our current housekeeper has been with us for several years and is only leaving due to a house move.
The role is for 27 hours, split across 4 weekdays and 3 hours on a Saturday morning.
You are:
- happy around young children, dogs and comfortable in a rural, dairy farm setting.
- willing to learn and adapt to the household’s routines and preferences with excellent time management.
- able to communicate clearly with our family and ensure a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness is maintained at all times.
- able to approach and solve any issues in a calm and effective manner
We are looking for candidates with a background in housekeeping or cleaning in private homes and can supply references attesting to this experience.
We have three active children under 6 and two equally energetic spaniels, so you must be comfortable around both. As this is our home it’s important to us that you are security conscious and conduct yourself with high levels of tact and discretion.
We are currently looking for someone who can be flexible with their working location (between Saxmundham and the Felixstowe peninsula) as a household move is highly likely in the next few years, potentially more than once!
An ability to cook healthy, nutritious meals would be desirable but is not a necessity for this role.
