As our Women's Health service continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Women's Health Physiotherapist to join our friendly multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to help shape and develop an expanding Women's Health service while building a rewarding specialist caseload. For the right candidate, there is excellent opportunity to progress into a Women's Health Clinical Lead position. About the Role
You will independently assess, diagnose and treat women with pelvic health and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, providing evidence-based, patient-centred care. You will also deliver Clinical Pilates, Pregnancy Pilates and Postnatal Pilates
classes, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Assess and treat pelvic health conditions.
· Carry out internal pelvic floor examinations and treatment.
· Assess and treat pregnancy and postnatal musculoskeletal conditions.
· Complete postnatal assessments and return-to-exercise rehabilitation.
· Develop personalised treatment programmes.
· Deliver one-to-one Women's Health Physiotherapy appointments.
· Teach Clinical, Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates.
· Maintain accurate clinical records.
· Work in accordance with HCPC and CSP standards.
· Support the continued growth of the Women's Health service.
· Essential Requirements
· Degree in Physiotherapy.
· HCPC Registered Physiotherapist.
· Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
· Experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
· Postgraduate Women's/Pelvic Health training.
· Competent in internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment.
· Experience treating pregnancy and postnatal conditions.
· Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills.
· Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable
· APPI Pilates qualification (or equivalent).
· Experience teaching Clinical, Pregnancy and Postnatal Pilates.
· Private practice experience.
· Experience supporting service development.
