Atlantic Biogas Ltd are looking for a new Anaerobic Digestion Plant Operator, some AD or industrial process plant operations experience is sought but not essential , training will be given
Immediate start is Available for this post and in any case the successful candidate in place by 13 July is sought. An initial 12 month fixed term post is offered, working in a four day on, four day off shift pattern. A longer term role is likely to follow.
Atlantic Biogas operates 3 large scale gas to grid anaerobic digestion plants up and down the East Coast of Scotland
Plant Operator Key Duties, include:
1. Use of plant control system to include adjusting set points, diagnostic evaluation and other inputs to facilitate the plant process and achieve good sustained plant output and status
2. Taking samples of feedstock for quality control testing, measurement of feedstock received and other seasonal activities
3. Undertaking plant equipment checks
4. Taking samples for basic analysis onsite or analysis offsite by others
5. Plant operational record keeping and contribution to the preparation of site performance and data reports;
6. Play a role in a shift pattern that addresses occasional attending to remote alarm reset, call out, cover of colleagues
7. Assist craftsmen with maintenance from time to time
Experience in personal computer based working and communications (eg microsoft office suite)
Shall be physically fit to undertake demanding lone working, have the right to reside in the UK and have a current licence to drive in the UK
