General Function
Responsible for covering the tasks and duties as required within production such as moving finished goods to warehouse, maintaining levels of raw materials within the production halls, general quality checks, using the ERP system to input data, practising good housekeeping to ensure a clean environment for food products.
Key Responsibilities
Keep Team Leader/Shift Manager updated on any consumables or base products that need re-ordering.
Oversee transfer of finished goods from production to warehouse.
Input information on to ERP system and recording of lot numbers.
Pick and transfer raw materials and packaging for daily production runs.
Ensure safe stacking of palletised goods and ensure that all goods packaged are done so in a professional format.
Carry out necessary stock movements as directed by the Team Leader/Shift Manager.
Maintain all health and safety standards and report immediately on any or all safety issues.
Maintain strict hygiene standards in the production halls.
Ensure finished goods are transferred from factory floor to warehouse in line with

Person Specification
Proven experience of working within a similar role within the food industry sector.
F/L Counterbalance certificate (preferred, but not essential)
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
Good understanding of Food Safety and Hygiene.
Ability to work effective within a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail.
Can-do attitude and willingness to help out team in times of demand.
Strong safety conscientious working practices, adhering to health and safety at all times.
Qualifications Essential
Basic numerical skills essential for data entry tasks.
