Job Description
21st Century Conservatories & Fascias Ltd, a home improvements company based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, are looking for a reliable and hard-working experienced Fitter’s Mate to support our installation team.
The successful candidate will be field-based, assisting with the installation of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors across a variety of residential projects.
Our work is often varied and hands-on, with no two days the same. As most projects take place in customers’ homes, a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a polite, professional manner are essential.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist the lead fitter with installation of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare work areas and keep sites clean and organised
- Support in ensuring all installations meet company standards
- Maintain a professional and respectful approach when interacting with customers
- Ensure company vehicle and uniform are kept clean and presentable
- Follow all company policies and Health & Safety requirements
Skills & Personal Qualities
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Positive attitude and hands-on approach
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Previous experience in construction or a similar role is an advantage but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Additional Information
- Working mainly within a 30-mile radius of Salisbury
- Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
- Applicants must be based in the UK and able to commute to Salisbury (SP1 area)
- Overseas applications cannot be considered

Pay: £28,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
