The Earl Haig Club is in Whitchurch, Cardiff and we are looking for team members to join us, you'll be part of delivering an excellent customer experience that gets our guests coming back for more. Within this social and lively environment, you'll get to have a laugh along the way.
Late nights and weekends are an essential part of our working hours, but we are very good at accommodating all our team's needs and spreading the workload as best we can. Please consider your location and potential travel issues with late night finishes!
About The Earl Haig:
We're a thriving club, which offers its members and visitors live entertainment, live streaming of sports, a skittle alley, snooker/pool room and dart board, and are also hosts to many community groups.
Duties
- Pretty much what you’d expect from a venue like ours:
- Pouring drinks like a pro
- Running a smooth till
- Engaging with our customers ️and dealing with customer queries
- Working the floor where needed - glass collecting, restocking and setting up for opening
Requirements
- Applicants need to be 18 years+
- Previous experience in hospitality, or serving roles is preferred but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Friendly, approachable manner with excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
- Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
