Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Career Teachers to join primary schools in Birmingham, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those beginning their teaching careers to gain valuable classroom experience within a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to primary school pupils, fostering a positive learning environment
- Implement behaviour management strategies to promote good conduct and respect among pupils
- Support the planning and delivery of curriculum activities across various subjects
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their development
- Maintain clear communication with colleagues, pupils, and parents regarding student achievements and behavioural issues
- Assist in organising classroom resources and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils during lessons and breaks
- Contribute to the overall organisation of the school environment, supporting extracurricular activities where needed
Qualifications
- Recent qualification in early childhood education or primary teaching (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
- Demonstrable understanding of behaviour management techniques suitable for young children
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- Passion for teaching and commitment to supporting children’s educational journey
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to different classroom environments
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary

Pay: £140.00-£250.00 per day
