Job Advertisement: Support Worker Roles (20 Hours per Week)
Supporting Individuals with Additional Learning Needs
We are currently recruiting for one part-time Support Worker positions to join our dedicated and friendly team. These roles involve providing high-quality care and support to individuals with additional learning needs, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Community Support Worker (Driver)
- Location: Various community settings
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm around 3-4 days per week
- Role Summary:
This position involves travelling between appointments to support individuals in the community. You will assist service users with accessing activities, attending appointments, and developing life skills. A full, clean driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential. This role may also be based in a day centre, the role will include personal care, assisting with daily activities, and helping to create a safe, stimulating environment that promotes independence.
- Ideal Candidate: Reliable, friendly, flexible, compassionate, patient.
- Experienced in providing personal care and working within a team setting and experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
Requirements for this role
- A genuine passion for supporting people with additional learning needs
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential – training will be provided
