Shrewsbury Gymnastics Academy is looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Gymnastics Coach to join our team. We have opportunities to work with preschool, recreational, regional/national gymnasts, with varying hours available and an immediate start.
The Role
Join our coaching team and help gymnasts build confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of the sport. You'll deliver engaging sessions across multiply levels and ages with opportunities to support competition squads and develop your coaching career.
We’re looking for passionate, positive coaches who share our commitment to excellence, well being and helping every gymnast thrive in and out of the gym.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, engaging and progressive gymnastics sessions
- Support gymnasts in developing their skills, confidence and physical abilities
- Create a positive and encouraging training environment
- Maintain high standards of safety and safeguarding
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and academy staff
Requirements
- Women's Artistic Level 1 qualification or above
- A genuine passion for gymnastics and coaching
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with children and young people
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, positive and inclusive training environment
- Competition coaching experience is desirable but not essential
