Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring exceptional service standards, and maintaining food safety protocols. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Manage food safety procedures in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Assist in training staff on food production, serving techniques, and customer service excellence
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure efficient operation
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas at all times
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any service issues promptly and professionally
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences to guests
- Maintain accurate records of staff shifts, training sessions, and operational procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Previous management or supervising experience in a food service setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Experience in restaurant operations, culinary arts, or hospitality management is highly desirable
- Barista experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
